Computer Network Maintenance

Who is IntrinsicNet?

IntrinsicNet is a computer services and broadcast engineering and consulting company based in Starkville, Mississippi. We have been maintaining, installing and programming computers and networks for over 25 years. Along with the work we currently perform locally, we have provided contract engineering services to broadcasters in the Southeast since 1982, maintaining over 100 radio stations. Over the years, our work with the stations has evolved into maintaining complicated computer networks with an average of 25 or more workstations per site. Applying our knowledge and expertise to non-broadcast applications provides businesses in our area with the best possible computer services. We are experienced professionals. We respond to your needs quickly and efficiently.

IntrinsicNet currently maintains more than 70 computer automation systems providing music for the Golden Triangle, the Mississippi Delta, Tupelo, Jackson, and Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. These computer networks are the information systems supporting the business activities for over 75 radio stations. Working with the Mississippi News Network, IntrinsicNet maintains 2 uplinks and over 70 downlinks that provide Mississippi Collegiate Sports throughout the state of Mississippi. IntrinsicNet also works with the South Carolina News Network. Along with developing computer software and hardware, IntrinsicNet provides assistance to many broadcasters and businesses on an as-needed basis not only in Mississippi but also in Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Along with routine maintenance, equipment installation, and consulting, IntrinsicNet works with clients planning and supervising upgrades, implementing studio and transmitter relocations, running FCC compliance testing and other special projects. IntrinsicNet’s experience includes: building over 200 studios and twenty C2 or higher transmitting facilities. IntrinsicNet has built one LPTV station and provides services for several other LPTV stations in Mississippi and Alabama.

Located in Cotton Crossing on Russell Street, IntrinsicNet is one of the best-staffed and equipped contract engineering and computer services teams in the Southeast. Currently IntrinsicNet is staffed with four broadcast engineers and IT technicians and two customer support employees. Targeting those clients who need “mission critical” services, the company grows and changes as the broadcast and computer services industry changes. IntrinsicNet takes a very personal approach to the service business. IntrinsicNet understands that its success is measured by the quality of work and the satisfaction of clients. IntrinsicNet is not trying to be the BIGGEST computer maintenance company, just the BEST.

IntrinsicNet will work with your business on an as needed or contract basis. Because you are already very busy running your business, it makes sense to hire a dependable IT team to take care of your computers. It also makes sense to maintain your computer network on a routine basis, so that you do not have to deal with “emergency” situations. If network downtime is unacceptable in your business, talk to IntrinsicNet about a computer network maintenance agreement. Why Do You Need a Computer Network Maintenance Agreement?

* Daily productivity is directly related to the efficient operation of your computer network and workstations. “Down time”, when your system is not functioning properly, is not acceptable in today’s fast-paced work environments. Proper system design, preventive maintenance and proactive support from IntrinsicNet will help minimize this down time.

* Lack of productivity and inefficiency means reduced revenue. A computer maintenance agreement is an investment in your business that will more than pay for itself in the long run. Plus it insures fast, priority service from a team of professionals in the event of an emergency. Money will be saved when problems are diagnosed and repaired quickly. Unnecessary parts replacement and unproductive diagnostic time will no longer be a problem.

* A maintenance contract with IntrinsicNet insures
** regular wellness checkups and proper anti virus and anti spam software maintenance,
** software version upgrades,
** security software monitoring,
** hardware performance check-ups,
** open communication with your software vendors
** phone support for your staff
** minimal intrusion into your daily routine and work environment through the use of remote access software
** verification of timely proper data back ups
